Description
Before starting network configuration, please ensure the following network and hardware settings are checked. This is crucial for the stable operation of Matter devices across multiple ecosystems:
1. Wireless Network: Your phone and the hubs for each ecosystem must be connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during configuration (Matter devices do not support 5GHz Wi-Fi).
2. Network Routing: Access your router's admin panel and ensure IPv6 support is enabled (Matter heavily relies on IPv6 and mDNS protocols for device discovery and handshakes within a local area network), and ensure "AP Isolation" is disabled.
3. Hardware Hubs for Each Ecosystem: Ensure you have at least one hub device from one of the following platforms in your home (these will act as local controllers):
Apple Home: HomePod/HomePod mini/Apple TV 4K, etc.
Alexa: Matter-compatible Echo speakers (such as Echo Gen 4, Echo Dot Gen 5, etc.).
Google Home: Nest Hub/Nest Mini/Nest Audio, etc.
SmartThings: SmartThings Station/Aeotec Hub v3, etc.
4. Initial state: The bulb is powered on.If this is the first time using it, the bulb will automatically flash 3 times to enter breathing light mode (entering 10-minute network pairing mode); if a reset is needed, quickly switch the power on and off 5 times consecutively.
